Steamloc® venturi steam traps
Steamloc International has been active since 1985 with its expertise in condensate removal from steam systems with considerable success. Activity is not limited to national operations but also international. The company’s emphasis is on process applications. We still find conventional steam traps of all sorts and types frequently on these applications. In contradiction to other suppliers and vendors Steamloc International, with two offices in place, is more of an engineering company than a trading company. She looks at the entire picture of a process and sets up goals as to what are the problems and what needs to be achieved. Installations can even be addressed on a individual basis.Steamloc is intended as a direct replacement for one or more steam traps. Even though there are other steam traps that work more or less according to the same principles, namely venturi-and two-phase flow principles, Steamloc is the only one that has been successfully applied to process applications.
Steamloc is a concept of stainless steel spool pieces along with a modular built family of venturi-nozzle inserts. By applying two-phase flow of steam and condensate moving parts are no longer necessary. Maintenance and frequent replacements are considered a thing of the past. Excessive leakage is no longer possible. Installation is basically one time only.
Steamlocs have found their way to all different industries and all countries. The largest installation concentrations of this innovative system are naturally the Ruhr area, Europoort and Antwerp port area's, but also an extensive number of installations can be found in the USA and the Far East.
